Shotover Jet, Queenstown, New Zealand
Harshal and I were took turns with this activity and Arya enjoyed playing with the sand on the beach. We were glad to see that the same turquoise blue water of the Shotover jet and the ride was as thrilling as it was described in the brochures! Interesting fact- Jet boats are designed to operate in as shallow as 4 inches of water and our guide Kelty kept us on the edge of our seats...literally, with his 360 degrees turns of the boat and speeding so close to the canyon walls that we could have actually touched them with an extended arm!
